WOMENSWEAR:

Trend Number One:  The "Minimalist" Look

Not everything about this seasons trend are huge prints and busy details. Many designers went for something simple. Going for clean cuts, and interesting angels, designers spiced up their simple creations with either bold colors, intricate cuts or interesting fabrics. As seen in BCBG, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander Wang just to name a few!

Trend Number Two: The "Athletic" Look

Wearing athletic inspired looks will definitely be in this season. Pieces with broad shoulders, breathable and mesh white fabrics with intricate wraps as details. With a hint of whites, blacks and adding a splash of neon and citrus colors make up this very confident look. Designers like John Paul Gaultier, Chanel and Alexander Wang have pieces which go with this look.

MENSWEAR:

Trend: Oh, So NEON

Many menswear designers opted to go for something out-of-the-ordinary by switching up classic pieces with  neon colors. As seen on Prada, Dsquared², Armani, Jil Sander and Calvin Klein.

FOOTWEAR:

Trend: Fancy Footwork

Labels like YSL and McQueen went for  intricate heels. YSL opted for something sexy by using some snake skin and incorporating some chunky wedges and heels. While, McQueen went for a more whimsical look by using flowers and butterflies to detail their beautifully sculpted shoes.

MAKE UP:

Trend Number One: Bold Lips

You might think of putting on some cherry red, bright orange and hot pink shades on your lips will definitely be in (maybe even using a little apple green or electric blue might work too)! As seen on Fendi, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Diane von Furstenberg just to name a few.

 Trend Number Two:  Bright Eyes

Another trend that designers mashed up with bold lips were bright eye make up. Adding a touch of black by putting on some thick top liner and volumizing mascara. Which is what Christian Dior and Fendi did. Giving his models that pin-up girl-esque kind of look.
